Cut to the chase and go right to : Management, resume,

I discuss several topics:

In Management, you get a copy of my resume; thoughts on sales and sales management, especially as they pertain to life sciences, chemistry, and optics; topics that relate to Marketing; standout Case History; and finally, Commercialization, with special reference to intellectual properties and how they are valued.

In Imaging, you'll find an active page showing a commercial assignment I had about two years ago Check out "Teardown." I offer thoughts on on Color Corrections, Photo Restorations, Manuscript restoration, and other thoughts on Digital Imaging. ...Still Under Construction...

In Galleries, you'll find examples of some of my works; most have won awards of one sort or another. The "Cityscapes" section is ready for viewing. If you are interested in licensing any of these works for your own use, please "Contact Us" for more discussion. ...Still Under Construction...

Resources, fresh content in "Bookshelf," contain an amalgam of other issues not discussed elsewhere.

COMMENT:

The Chicago city skyline in the top banner is my favorite. The shot itself took six separate trips to downtown Chicago before I could puts its elements together. It's not that taking a cityscape is hard work. The difficulty arose because the skyline image comprises six composites, and each was a 15 second exposure. What was "still" at ΒΌ sec moved into subsequent frames during the 15 sec. exposure. As a result, fast moving clouds, boats sailing into harbor, even birds aloft spoiled the effect. I also found that using a tripod with spirit level was essential to the process. There was a relatively narrow window of time between sundown and civil twilight; the thousands of sodium vapor streetlamps that cover the city would reflect upward with an unpleasant glow whose color was not amenable to color corrections.

======== NOTE: With one exception, you will find neither tables nor Javascript anywhere in this web site. I took it on as something of a challenge, and a challenge it was. Beside the benefit of very fast loading - browsers don't need to evaluate extra code - users running tight security on their workstations can view the site with no restrictions. The one exception to my tableless goal is on my resume page.

======== ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS to Stu Nicholls and his CSS Play for the many thoughts on table-less, Javascript-less menus. His design is clean and fast.
